Our annual family style Thanksgiving Dinner will be taking place during the 3rd Sunday of this month on November 16th. The sign-up list for requested dishes is in the lobby and includes traditional items like turkey, potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Once again the youth group will help to serve the food and drinks as we all enjoy a time of fellowship around the table.

Additionally, we do not want to forget the needs of others at this time of year. We would love to provide some of the local families that make use of our food pantry with some items for their own Thanksgiving dinner this month. On Sunday, November 9th, we would especially like to encourage the entire church to bring at least 1 item for the food pantry. Suggested items include stuffing mix, sweet potatoes, cranberries, pie crust, pumpkin, evaporated milk, potatoes, squash, corn, etc.

The choir is beginning to meet again to work on this year's Christmas musical performance. There was a great turn out to the kickoff party on Sunday, November 2nd. There is still time and space to join the production. The choir will be meeting on Wednesday nights at 8:15 PM. Come on out and join a practice or contact Judy Brunner for more information.

This year we are creating a Christmas Float for the local holiday parades in Dade City and Zephyrhills. Volunteers are needed from the congregation to help come up with ideas, build the float, and participate in the actual parades. If you are interested in helping in any of those areas, please join us for a short planning meeting on Sunday, November 9th, immediately following the 10:30 AM worship service. Float work days are tentatively planned for the last 3 Saturday afternoons in November. Talk to Andy Frazier or Shayne Trebour if you would like to know more about this project.
